Problem
Hot Wheels products such as their diecast cars are designed to look more dynamic by emphasizing unrealistic proportions. However, their branding elements such as their customer journey, packages, and UI’s don’t hold the same design principles. Their customers are also growing as they are focusing more of their design efforts to brand high-end products and collectables.

Translate the same passion and dynamic used for car designs throughout their branding materials.

Ideation
Came up with an idea to translate the same fun and dynamic branding over to the customer journey and their shopping experience. Using the QR code printed on the back of the packaging, 3D visual of contents are projected on the box through the AR filter to let customers play and interact with the product even before purchasing the item.
